Migration from Exchange 2007 to Notes 8.5.1

Hi forum,

does anyone have experiences in migrating from MS Exchange 2007 to Lotus Notes 8.5.1?

Are the standard migration tools from IBM Lotus sufficient for migration of mail, calendar, to dos and contacts or is a add-on software such as the CMT from Binary Tree needed?

We’ve always used the tool from Binary Tree when dong our migrations – it works very well.

I have downloaded the trial version of the CMT for testing and contacted Binary Tree regarding licenses.

Subject: CMT vs. DUS

I have tested Binary Tree CMT version 9.0 and get anytime an error, when I want to import users from the Exchange User list to the CMT database for Migration. Regarding this I am in contact with Binary Tree Support.

Meanwhile I tested DUS with Notes 8.5.1.

During Migration of some Exchange Mailboxes (always the same) the Admin client crashes with nsd. Other Mailboxes are migrated without errors.

Another issue is, that calendar entries are migrated, but they only appear in the “All Calendar Entries” views. In the graphic views day/week/month no entries are visible.

Does anyone have the same issues or a solution for this?
