We have an Access database that can no longer send messages via COM call to Lotus Notes on any machine with new install of 6.5.4. We get the following error:
“Run-time error ‘429’: ActiveX component can’t create object”
We have manually registered Nlsxbe.dll to no avail. This has worked for us up until 6.5.4. This was an issue that was fixed in 6.5.1 per this technote:

The call is this:
Set session = CreateObject(“Notes.Notessession”)
Again, it has always worked, regardless of Notes version up until 6.5.4. Note that we are also using Access 2003 - which worked fine until 6.5.4. Does anyone know if this is a known regression and if so, is there a hot fix?
