Sometimes when I add a contact, Notes automatically tries to fill in the Messaging ID. Even if I remove what it puts in, Notes puts it back. Sometimes it puts a telephone number into the field. Other times, it doesn’t do anything. I prefer it to leave this field alone. If I wanted something there, I’d put it in myself. Why does it do this? Is there a way to make it stop?

This seems to be a bug in Notes. It only happens for some contacts. It does not matter how many times I clear the field, Notes fills it back in.
