We recently came across a problem with migrating an application from R5 to R6 where the Conflict settings for a form were not working correctly. The form was set in R5 to merge conflicts and a $ConflictAction field was placed on the form set to “1” to prevent conflicts.
In R6, we noticed a lot of Replication/Save conflicts whereas before they were minimal. The form setting was set to “Create Conflicts”. When we attempted to change the setting to “Merge Conflicts” and saved the form, the setting was not sticking. So we removed the $ConflictAction field from the form and it now saves the setting.
Just FYI for others who may experience this problem.
