We recently had a user get married and go through the process to change her name in Notes\Domino. Most things updated fine (except that it didn’t update her mail file ACL), but her name was not changed as the meeting chair of meetings she already had setup. Now she cannot cancel or reschedule those meetings. I’ve run ‘tell adminp process all’ and have looked in the Adminstrative Request database and nothing is pending. Any help would be appreciated.
Subject: Meeting chair not updated after name change
Can you run a simple agent to change the fields on the meeting document from her old name to her new name?
Just simple action replace value on Chair and AltChair might be enough, or check the document properties for any other fields of her name if that doesn’t work.
And check you’ve got the Administration server set correctly for the mailfile, if it didn’t update her mail file ACL.

Thanks. I also had to change the ‘From’ and ‘Principal’ fields, but it seemed to work. For some reason there is one entry that still isn’t updated. Do you know if there is a way to update the ‘$AltPrincipal’ field?

Check that the Mail file owner field in the Mail preferences is set to the new name, so that future meetings get the right $AltPrincipal.
If that’s right, a formula agent
@SetField($AltPrincipal ; “Winnie the Pooh”)
might work?
Obviously if her new name is not Winnie the Pooh, you could change that bit of the code ![]()
Actually I just tried this on my mailfile, and it didn’t work. So good luck!!
