Can anyone tell me how much memory can Domino 7.02 use on a system that has 8 GB of memory and is running on SUSE 10 64bit version OS.

u have tot use domino 7.0.2 or higher to expand the default domino memory usage from 2gb to 3gb. (only at a 64 bit OS)

so, if you are using domino 7.02 or higher:

at 32bit os: 2gb memory usage

at 64bitos: 3gb memory usage

ps: 3gb for every partition.

search for NSF_Buffer_Pool_Size in admin help.Does it help?

I believe it’s still 2GB, though that could be a bit off. It’s not going to use the full 8GB, as it’s still not a full 64-bit app. That is coming in the next version of Domino.

I think it’s 4Gb.

But it’s still a good idea to install partitioned servers to get the most of your hardware,
