Matching Aliases in Dialog List with Multiple Selections

Hello community

I have defined a dialog list with aliases as explained in the notes help database. Multiple selections are allowed, separated by commas.

Apples | 0

Pears | 1

Oranges | 3

In a view, I have would like to display a categorized list using the names instead of aliases. Therefore, I have created a sorted and categorized column and ticked the “Show multiple values as separate entries” box.

As column value, I have the formula

@If( type=“0”; “Apples”; type=“1” and so forth.

Unfortunately, documents with multiple types are only shown beneath one category. If I use type as column value, everything works as expected (but categories are shown as number instead of names)

I further tried with

@If( @Contains (@Implode(type;“,”); “0”); “Apples”;

Try the @Replace Function:@Replace( sourcelist ; fromlist ; tolist )

ie.

@Replace(Fruit;“0”:“1”:“2”;“Apples”:“Pears”:“Oranges”)
