Making EasySync Pro work with a palm

My palm and the palm SW on my laptop sycronise fine. When I try and sycronise with Lotus Notes using ‘EasySync Pro’ SW it doesn’t seem to connect at all. I double click the EasySync Pro icon in the Windows System tray: “Press HotSync Button on the device and press OK.”, however, when start my palm off sycronising and I click OK on my desktop, the message keeps appearing. The palm does not seem to link to the EasySync Pro SW. It sycronises with the Palm SW and the EasySyn Pro messages remain on the screen unchanged.

I have checked data source settings and Notes translator configuration in the EasySync Pro SW. I have tried to force a full sycronisation.

Anyone any ideas? I would love some help on this!

Make sure you are using the most RECENT build of easy syncy pro - it should be version 4.2.2, build number 621. If you are not using this build, contact IBM support for Easy Sync Pro and they will direct you to where to find it to download and install.

This response was very helpful! I wasn’t using the latest version. However the latest version isn’t available to me so instead of that I found a patch that corrected the problem. Thank You!
