@mailsend with a form is not included

Good afternoon,

I am currently having an issue with @mailsend. I have the SendTo field along with Subject field and the email sends out correctly. My understanding is that the form I have this attached to is to be placed in the email body. This is not working correctly. I get the email but not the form. Any thoughts on why this is not working? Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

In the form properties box did you enable “Include Form in Document”?

I went to the form properties and I do not see that listed. Could you please provide me with more details? could it be listed under a different name?

It’s on the first tab of the form properties box about half way down and is called “Store form in document”, to be exact.

Thank you for your quick response. I have that box checked and it still will not include the form in the email. Is there something else i should be looking for?

what are you expecting to see? your original post says something about including the form in the body. this feature actually includes the form in the document and should display the document with that form when opened once received in your Lotus Notes e-mail. Do you have a “Form” field on the document? If so, what is it’s value? If not, dod you have a $Title field on the document?

That currently is not happening. The email is blank. I did not have a “Form” field on the form i have created. I am sorry if i seem dense with this. I have been given this project and i am not fully qualified. Life in IT. Any help you could provide would be great. I do thank you for all your input and would appriciate anything else you can throw my way.

there are 2 ways to use @MailSend. I suggest you review in notes designer help to make sure you are doing what you want. @MailSend by itself will send the entire document but requires certain reserved fields to be present on the form used to create the document. @MailSend with parameters will send an e-mail message and can include “items” from the document.

I was able to make it work with "@Command( [MailSend] ) ". It sends the email out and when you open the email the form is there. so I think for now it will work. but need to have multiple variables for the sendto field. working on that one now.

If you haven’t figured out how to use multiple variables yet, try using :for example, SendTo would contain

“joe@joe.com : bob@bob.com”
