Mails Getting Unread

We have updates Herarical ( OU’s ) for some of users. Every ACL , ECl has been updated by server but most of the users are complaining that there all emails have been marked as unread due to this change.Does any one have any clue why did that happen and how to avoid it.

If the rename is still fresh, it could be that the process just hasn’t completed yet - check the admin4.nsf database for each user and check to see if all the rename steps have completed.

Having said that - there have been numerous unread marks issues over the years, and I’ve seen this happen with some older versions of Domino - in fact it looks like there have been fixes in 7.0.4 and 8.5.x that affect unread table issues after a rename.
