I am trying to set up a new anti spam/virus server. I need to allow my notes box to receive mail from it. Where can I put these settings on my notes box?
I thought I had already done it by adding the IP address of my new server to domino at Messaging, Messaging Settings. I added the IP address in the section that says: Restrictions and Controls, SMTP Inbound Controls, “Allow messages only from the following internet hosts to be sent to external internet domains:” Then I restarted the smtp service on notes.
Please can you let me know if there is somewhere else to set this as at present mail is getting to my new anti spam server but not progressing through to the notes box because it “failed to connect”.
Also, while I’m here, can I just confirm that to make all notes outbound mails go to this new server that all I need to do is add the server address to: Restrictions and Controls, Basics, Relay host for messages leaving the local internet domain:
