I hv been trying to test an archive template (R5) to my R6 environment.

R6.5 server
-
R6.5 client
-
R5 mail database
The objective is to incorporate the archive option in this template to enable easy operation
by non-tech users.
However, when we archive with this option (added into our R5 mail template), the selected marked docs goto into the All Document views of the newly created archive database but not the inbox of the archive.
After trying for awhile, I hv decided to post for tips in this forum.
I hope someone can help.

This template shows a different way to archive your mail file. We are using a version of this
template in a few organizations. There are 3 free design notes in this template:

Form = “(ArchiveOptions)” | AO

An agent to open this form in a dialogbox = “Run Archive Options”

View =“(ArchivePipe)”
Copy all 3 into your Notes (R5 only) mail template. The script that’s running when you click
the “Archive” button is not a very fast one. Feel free to re-write it in any way you want, to
improve the speed. By the way, the best way is to do it from outside (COM).
