I am having the infamous unable to send to AOl problem. I have created my ptr records for my mail server and my mx record. I have gone to their site used the Reverse lookup test and it test fine. But Mail to AOL still just sits in the mail.box. What else can I check? This is the error I get.

Using the machine where you’re doing your SMTP, you may want to try to telnet into one of AOL’s servers on port 25. Maybe you’ll see the error that it’s returning when you give that a go? Had a similar problem with AOL a few years ago at another organization and it was related to blacklisting.
