Mail signature - links

We want our mail signature to link to a couple of different pages on our website.

To do this we don’t want to put in the full url, as would be rather ugly.

Before the changes to the signature in 8.5 we could link to an HTML file and send that out The HTML link would work fine in other mail systems, but it doesn’t now after importing the HTML file into the new signature field

This is a major problem, the styling is completely lost on the signature as well.

The signature dialog box says to copy another rich text field in to get links and formatting, but I’ve done this, copied in rich text with hotspots and text formatting and it doesn’t work…

How can we get this to work again? Or is this actually a feature removed completely from Notes?

Cheers

Subject: Try this Notes.ini setting

Try adding this setting to your Notes.ini: $SignatureOptionEnabled=1

Then re-open your preferences and set your preference to the older HTML File type.

Subject: Still sends as plain text

Thanks for the suggestion, but have tried that and the email still goes as plain text, even with the append HTML file option enabled.

It looks like 8.5 has just broken the ability to send HTML signatures, which is a big problem for us as ours now looks like a piece of **** when sending so we’ll need to redo it and our signatures have been looking like this for a while now without anyone noticing

Oh well…
