I have two mail servers (one domino and other freeware). I have configured Freeware to send mails through Domino and allowed the freeware server on Domino to relay.
But when my domino users are sending mail to freeware server, they are getting error like xyz@freeware.com is different from
The following message to xyzap@freeware.in was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-‘authentication failed: abc@dominoserver.com is different from esmtp user pqr@dominoserver.com’
In this example abc@dominoserver.com was trying to send mail to xyzap@freeware.in.
But mails from other domains are received fine on the freeware server. Only domino is not sending the mails consistently.
Since both the mail servers are hosted locally. I would like to configure where domino does not use DNS for this particular domain only. Domino should use DNS for all other domains except freeware. For this particular domain I want to send mail directly to the freeware server (LAN IP).
Please help is resolving the same.
