Mail Routing - DMZ domain to primary Domino domain

I created a new Domino domain for a server that sits in the DMZ. The server is in its own Domino domain, which is cross certified with my primary Domino domain. Mobile users have replicas of their mail on the DMZ server for access from the Internet. So far, so good they are receiving their mail.Problems -

  1. when users send mail from the DMZ the DMZ domain name is appended to their address, preventing any reply to messages being delivered to them.

  2. I need to forward any smtp mail created on the DMZ server to our smtp gateway in the primary Notes domain. I setup a foreign smtp domain, but I’m getting a server not found error on the DMZ server when trying to find the gateway in our primary domain.
