Mail not replicating in inbox

Dear Friends,I have a local replica of my mail file which size is 1.3gb. suddenly one problem came that when i replicate my mail then the new mails does not go to the inbox view of replica but they go to all documents and sent views of replica. I doubt my local inbox view is corrupted. I refreshed and replaced the local replica with server’s mail template. I compacted the local replica file however i am facing the same problem. What other way to sort out this problem.

I have a user with this exact problem. It started happening after he replicated. Is there a solution for this???

the inbox can freeze up, it’s fairly rarely though, no ones figured out exactly why yet.

first, make sure the user hasn’t created another folder called inbox and the new mail is in that, if they have, move the mail and delete the wrong “inbox”, if they haven’t then try this;

[on the server - NOT the local replica]

create a new folder, say aaaa

move the document in the inbox to the aaaa folder

delete the inbox

[user replicates mail file]

[user closes mail file and reopens - the inbox should be missing]

refresh the design

move the documents in the aaaa folder back to the inbox

delete the aaaa folder

[user replicates mail file]

[user closes mail file and reopens - the inbox should be back]

send them an email to make sure it’s working again

Thanks so much. My user did, in fact, have a second Inbox…who would have thought!?
