Mail merge to email with MS Word

I have an application that uses the mail merge to email function within MS Word.

Can someone confirm whether this function will work using Notes/Domino for the mail application or not.

If it does then is there anything special I need to do/be aware of.

Here’s what I’ve found by trial and error… If you don’t have the merge to email option in Word, add Add “MAPIX=1” to Win.INI. Seems to work in Word 2002 but not in 2003. The “plain text” and “attachment” export options work but not “HTML”.

You will get a prompt for every email you send in Notes. I worked around this by setting Outlook Express as the default email client and disabling “warn when other applications try to send mail”.
