I have read through the forum on mail-in databases and have a question. If I want several email address to go to one database how do I set it up? I read something about personal document, but I have never set up a pers doc. Is this something the Notes Admin should know?
The point is to not make person records, because those are used for so much more. Just make a mail-in db record (or 2 or 3) and those docs have only like 8 fields. You just specify the name and the NSF path.
Decide how many e-mail addresses youwant for the mail-in database. Open the Domino Directory to the Mail-in Databases view and find the database record and highlight it. Now go to Edit > Copy, then go to Edit > Paste and repeat for as many e-mail addresses you want. Now open each pasted doc and change the Mail-in database name to make it unique then add your new internet e-mail address for each one. Can’t be much clearer then that.
Sorry for asking, but I don’t wear the Admin hat that often. I have a huge project and before I start building, I just want to make sure. I am building a database to handle all our incoming mail from our site and our customers.
I can see what you mean, you would just make numerous copies of the same database give it a unique name and put the internet email address in but keep the file name the same (test.nsf).

Sorry to sound so stupid, but I will put on my Admin hat now and ask what you mean by mail-in db record? I can make more than one mail-in db document within Admin and name it the same?
