A customer reports that another user’s mail icon appears on their Notes workspace that the customer knows they didn’t open the mail file or purposely bookmark it. Calendaring and scheduling isn’t used at this location. I heard that it is due to a email thread that is replied back and forth between one party and another. Can anyone substantiate this?

I haven’t seen this happen in years, pretty common in older versions. I never did figure it out but one person suggested the owner of the mail file tried to send or forward a link from his/her mail to the other person who ended up with their mail file.Maybe search older version forums?

if you open all this files (in case there are multiple ones) do they all have the right filename? is the archive Filename for all mailfile replicas the right one?

Yes, I verified that the location documents point to the right mail server and mail file of the customer. Still looking around for an answer if anyone has one.
