Mail database threshohold warning message - can we customize text?

Is there a way to customize the main text of the threshold warning messages as shown below as we don’t want our users to compact and would like to give them other instructions

Thanks, unfortunately that link simply says it can be done if you have version 6 or later which we do have.

I found another link about this but wasn’t sure if it referred to the actual window pop-up warning as I linked above or whether it referred to customizing a different type of message
