Mail and Calendar loop end in oidc error

Hi,
Can you please check why I get OIDC errors or login loops when I try to access Mail and Calendar?

I registered with my German last name, Stöttner. The confirmation message says I should use Christoph.Stöttner@dw.hcl-showcase.com as my username. Since this looks like an email address, and email addresses usually should not contain special characters, I suspect this may be causing issues with Mail and Calendar.

However, Sametime and Files are working correctly.

Thanks for reporting this. You’re correct that the special character in the username was causing the issue.

We’ve addressed this in the registration process. It now converts non-ASCII characters to their appropriate ASCII equivalents, so names will be handled correctly when generating the username.
