Mail access via https

Dear All,

We have to give web mail access to some persons who resides on different location.

This is new to me.

Please suggest me the steps and functionality.

these are the steps that you need to take:1) replace the design of the mailfile with a Domino Web Access template (better UI when used via HTTP but same UI in Notes)

  1. load http on the server (and put it in a program document so that HTTP is always started at Domino startup)

  2. optionally create a redirection database based on the template Domino Web Access redirection

  3. change the home page in the server document - internet protocols - HTTP tab so that it points to your DWA redirection DB e.g. /system/tools/dwaredir.nsf

  4. preferably prevent anonymous access on the server by disabling it in the ports - internet ports section of your server document

  5. If this works, setup SSL as an additional security measure

When you browse to your server, you should now get a username and password prompt which will redirect you to your own mailbox via HTTP.

Hi,I will try to put you on the way,

you have to change the mail files of these users from mail6.ntf to iNotes6.ntf (you can use the console command load convert …)
