Maiden name showing on sent by field ( in memo). How can I change

Hi there, have looked in this forum but can’t find a solution.After upgrade from R5.0.11 to R6.5.1, all people who had their name changed have a Sent by entry shown in the new memo form with their original name. So whenever I get an email from them and reply with history, it references both names, original and new. How can I fix this (without having to hide this field from new memo form).

I believe your problem is with who owns the mail file. From the inbox of the users mail file click on actions tools preferences. There you will see where to change the mail file owner.

That is the first place I would check.

I already checked who owner is and it’s correctly. any other ideas?

Check their person doc in the NAB. They could have two entries in a field that would be causing this problem. This could be the problem, but not sure how the name changed was handled.

You may already have done this. Check the location document. But, if the location document is ok, then I would check the person record in the public directory.
