LSXODBC Compatibility

Currently running Domino 6.5.1 with Nlsxodbc.dll Version 6.5.20.4139.

Connecting to iSeries V5R4 using the version 11 iSeries ODBC driver (CWBODBC.DLL).

We will be upgrading iSeries to V7 R1 and client to System iAccess 7.1

Looking for any info on whether there will be any issues with the LSXODBC accessing a system ODBC connection using the new iseries ODBC driver (version 13)

As I understand it the LSXODBC layer is pretty generic. I’ve reviewed data type changes and I dont see anything that would affect the operation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are you are ok. My guess is you should test on a upgraded test instance before you upgrade production. Are you really using 6.5.1? You know that version has not been supported for years!!
