LS Time Diff in milliseconds (ms)

Hi all,

I’m using this GetTickCount = Timer() to get the time before and after the execution of a script function.

Format$(cntdiff, “0.00000000”) is used to format the number.

what i get is something like .27734375 or 73.890625 or sometimes even 48694921875.

everytime the same format$ call.

what i want to have is the time in milliseconds between the start and the end.

is this possible with ths or what would u use instead?

please use only LS because the large agent we want to use this can not be rewritten.

The Timer() function rounds to 100ths of a second. I’ve posted a class in the Codebin at OpenNTF that should work for what you’re trying to do. Teamstudio also has a product called Profiler that works very well for determining performance metrics and isolating bottlenecks.dgg
