LS IDE and Current Line Jumps to Bottom of Window

Has anyone noticed and been very annoyed with the LS debugger and how it handles the current line of code when debugging? The fact that you can have it in the middle of the window and click “step next” and it (the current line of code) always jumps to the bottom of the window so you can’t see the next couple lines of code. Is anyone else annoyed with this? Can we get some community pressure on IBM to fix this non-conventional and most unproductive UI experience for developers?

I submitted a PMR on it and got back that “it will never be fixed unless more people complain about it”. So if IBM is watching this forum - lets complain (loudly).

Agree 100% - it annoys the hell out of me. I don’t think it used to do that in R5.Unfortunately, although there are Loti who contribute to this forum, I don’t think it’s an official complaint channel, so they may well ignore favourable responses to your post - thing is, it’s such a pain submitting a bug report (well, used to be, haven’t done one for many years), which puts people off. What’s a PMR anyway?

Hi,

also agree 100%. Please let me know the PMR and I will ask IBM to put me on the list of customers requesting this “feature”…
