Hi
I have a little problem, I generated two string values and placed them into two variables pass and nick, now i want to put them on the fields on the form with an action!
How can i do this??

How are you generating the string values and where are the variables? Why can’t you move the code that generates these values into an action and just add the appropriate code to update the fields?

The variables are created when a button is pressed, the button inserts them into a database but i dont know how to insert them on a field!
I dont know the appropriate code! Thats the problem!

Post your code. “The button inserts them into a database”, you say. Explain. Storing things in a Domino database is done by storing the data in fields on a document. Please provide more detail about what your goal is and your thoughts on what’s happening. This will help us help you.

Ok, so this is a place where people come to get help. You had a problem. It wasn’t well defined so nobody here could actually help. You managed to fix the problem.
Maybe, juuuust maybe, others might benefit from your experience. Any chance you could:
A) Post a really good description of the problem (like some/all of the code)
B) Tell us how you fixed it?
