And document B with rich text field “fldAtt”
I want to write lotus script which
thanks a lot,
jakub
(sounds easy but when I started to think about it I found out a lot of problems. E.g. I think that at first I have to save attachment to disk, I would like to use folder for lotus tmp files but i think it could be different on different computers and do not know how to find out wich folder is used by lotus client etc.)
Subject: lotusscript > copy attachment from doc and open it
If you get the environment value for “Directory” in LS, that is where your Data directory is. You will always know that Notes is allowed to create and change files in that directory. Remember to delete the file when you’re done. You should probably create a uniqueliy named directory under the data directory to store your file as well, so you don’t accidentally overwrite anything important.
You will probably also want to attach the file in the backend, and then open the document for editing, if needed.
