Lotusphere 2007 (Resort)

Any suggestions for a resort if your Attending Lotusphere 2007.

I’m planning to stay at Port Orleans or Caribbean Beach resort for cost rerasons.

Is one better than the other ?

I’ve never stayed at either of those. I always book Dolphin or Yacht Club. Dolphin is way too big and crowded. One year I kept getting lost trying to find my room when I got off the elevator. LOL! I think it was the ugly beach theme carpeting and crazy maze of a hallway. Everywhere you looked, you saw beach towels and umbrellas.

Yacht Club is close and more subdued.

Well, Dolphin/Swan is really where you want to be but the Caribbean Beach Club is not bad. When I stayed at the Port Orleans they were in the middle of a renovation so it may be better now.

You might want to check out the Gonzo Lotusphere website (http://www.weightlessdog.com/ls2007.nsf). There is currently a discussion thread on Port Orleans vs. Caribbean Beach.

I’ve stayed at both and they’re both nice. However, having to take the shuttle bus to the conference each morning really bytes. I’ve stayed on-site at either the Swan or Dolphin the past few years. More money, less hassle.
