Lotus Nsf database not indexed and cached by google like Html pages

Hi, even after I put meta tags into the forms and pages of the Lotus Nsf database. It is not indexed and cached by Google in the same way that Html pages does. What’s the correct effective way to get Google to cached and indexed a Lotus nsf website??

If you are using internet Site Documents…

Go to your Website Document.

Click on “Domino Web Engine”

Enable “Make this site accessible to web search site crawlers:”

hope this may help…

./florian

Subject: This option is not required for google though

the google spider doesn’t care whether the URL commands are ?Open or !Open, it happily works with both of them.

Thanks Florian, the problem is my web.nsf database is host by a web hosting company and I frequently replicate this web.nsf between the office and web host company. If I click on enable “Domino Web Engine”, would this affect the property of my web.nsf database to be accessible to web search site crawlers? Is there a way to enable just the web.nsf to be accessible by web crawlers?

I think it depends on the design of your website. Google seems to index all the documents in our website, and I have even watched google in the log, attempt to see views in the database etc.
