What is the safe size for the notes domino database?I have a situation in which there will be over 1 million records in a view. I want to loop in those documents. What will be the performamce issues in this case?

The situation is similar to the that of Balloting. i.e Randomly selecting applicants from the view of ‘All Applicants’. And ‘All Applicants’ can be of any number (100 or 1000 or 10000 or 100000 or 1000000 or…)

There are no hard and fast rules for this. However, the primary issue is not so much total records as it is record volatility. At what rate do you expect the data to change if you’re trying to process this kind of looping?
