We have recently moved to a new office and our Blackberry’s, which synchronise with our Lotus Notes mail are not synchronising.
Unfortunately the gentleman who set-up the Blackberry environment is no longer with us. I have checked the services and saw that the Blackberry Synchronisation service had not started, so I started it. However we are still not synchronising.
Can anyone suggest please what I can do to get our Blackberry’s synchronising with our Lotus Notes mail.
I assume that you are referring that the BlackBerry devices are not getting Lotus Notes email redirected and you have moved your BES?
If yes, then you need to check if the BES SRP is connected to RIM. Load the BlackBerry Manager and check the SRP connection. Also, make sure that the BlackBerry Dispatcher and Router is working. A good window to any errors is to look at the Windows event view log for “BlackBerry Messaging Agent”. The BES “MAGT” log file is another window to any errors.
Btw, BlackBerry Sync service is not related to message redirection. It is related to PIM data (i.e. address books, task, journal etc…).
