Lotus notes in the stick, I can't found autorun?

It’s works for me , but i have 2 questions :

I would like When I plug the usb drive that The target of lotus notes put in my desktop pc windows, more simple than go to the directory in the usb drive to found notes.exe . How can I do that , my problem is I don’t see the autorun.ini ans when I

click to autorun.exe (file in my usb drive) i get error messages.

the rquired file f:\program files\lotus\notes\autorun.ini was not foud …

the installation package could not be opened. verify that the package exists and you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a windows valid installer package

failed to update notes.ini the system cannot find the path specified

Can you give me the solution to resolve it ??

2> the drive is not the same to every machine, so for the moment for that works i must modify the notes.ini in the drive usb and put the good letter of the usb drive for its wirkd ! can it put it automatically ??

Many thanks for your suggestion …

Hi,

are you using LN 7.0.2 (Nomad) ? There are a couple of websites describing, how to install. Nomad gives you the aibility to install LN on a stick.

Subject: try this

It does sound like the initial installation may be incorrect, so you might have to re-install. There are very good specific steps here.

Question 2 - the drive renames itself dynamically - this was programmed by the developers.

Subject: RE: try this

I do a new install, the install will be ok, But when I double click to autorun.exe in my usb drive , a message display

The required File G:\program files\lotus\notes\autorun.ini was not found …

Susan Could you help me for this point …

Tanks , I wait your response …

There should not be an autorun.ini in the Lotus\Notes directory. The autorun.ini should only be in the root of your USB drive. Do you see it there?

Subject: files that should be on your USB file

These files should be showing on the root level of your USB drive - If they are not, you should delete the installation from the key and start over. Admin.ini should NOT be there. If your files are not the same as listed here, there was a problem with your initial installation. You should really start over. Please keep me updated. Good Luck!

Program files (FOLDER)

System32 ( FOLDER)

autorun.exe

autorun.inf

autroun.ini

Lotus Notes 7.0.2.msi
