Lotus Notes Hannover use of SWT?

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone here knows to what extent the planned Hannover Lotus Notes client UI relies on purely native Eclipse JFace/SWT and to what extent it has had to do other ‘custom’ things.

Its just that the Hannover client screenshots look much more interesting than most SWT clients I’ve ever seen. We’re currently evaluating Eclipse RCP as a base for a new desktop project but one of my concerns is the ability to give the app a more Web 2.0 look.

Sorry, this message is probably mis-placed in this forum, but was hoping someone here might be able to suggest a better place to ask this question?

Ask an IBM rep. They’ll fall over each other trying to hock you something, but at least you might get an answer. It’ll be 50% bullshit, but 50% truth too.
