Hi,First we used to never register new user with his ID stored in his personal document in the NAB. We always create it on a file system. Recently we wanted to test Roaming user on existing non roaming user with the option to store the ID in PAB.
So Lotus Notes stored the double encrypted local ID in the local names profile document “RoamingIdprofile” and replicates it to the roaming server. But when we try a fresh installation after the whole roaming process ended (User can Roam) we had the error :
“File Truncated - file may have been damaged”
And the installation cannot go further.
So I’ve tested to register a new user with his ID stored in Domino Directory and got the same error. And if I detach and removed the ID for the Domino Directory, the installation worked.
For information the ID is store in the field $File and compressed with Huffman 1 on our Directory same for the ID stored in the NAB (view with NotesPeek).
Any ideas? Is it a compression problem? I’ve also tried to change the type of compression in the PAB to LZ1 but still the ID is stored with Huffman compression.
Thanks for your help.
We use Domino 7 on W2K/W2K3, and Notes 7.0.1 CCH1 on XP SP1
