Lotus notes client crash / not responding

Dear Gurus,

Lotus domino server 8.02 run on windows server 2003 R2

Lotus notes client 8.5 run on windows 7 64 bit.

Problem:

Users have their notes client crashes 3-4 times a day, I have to create shortcut in their desktop to “kill” lotus notes client.

If anyone can help me to solve this crashes problem will be great. I copy paste all the log from the client.

the user still having the problem. after reinstalling the lotus notes 8.51 and than update with the fp4, he had 2 times lotus notes not responding.most of the time, he using ms office 2010, internet explorer and lotus notes.

I’m having this same issue on Windows 7 64-bit and I’m running Notes 8.5.1 FP5.

This is still an issue I’m having to deal with. In addition, my Notes session has issues with maintaining the correct display font in email sessions. By default my Lotus Notes environment uses Default Sans Serif but occasionally changes on its own to Fixedsys font for the complete Lotus Notes environment (email, databases, all menus in Notes environment).

I’m already at 8.5.1 with FP5. Is there an update available or being worked on that will address these issues?

Same problem, Fresh installs of 8.5.2 on new computers. Win7 64 bit. Lenovo t410s laptops.

This is not a problem with software compatibility, these machines are upcoming master images for deployment and have not been polluted with user software, all windows updates have been installed.

We are also seeing this error after a clean installation of 8.5.2.2, also seeing unable to open file 'C:\Windows\system32\WINSPOOL.DRV.???, not a laptop though. Will open a PMR and, if any useful info, will post response received (maybe a regression of SPR SMAI727S6G ?)

Just for testing i have installed on WIN 7 Notebook Dell Client Version 8.5.3 FP1, and see error “ERROR (4): can’t attach to process [ audiodg: 0470] - (5) Zugriff verweigert” inside the fault report. Server is still 8.5.2 FP3 and special HF.I think it is a WIN 7 Driver-Problem, but for one week NotesClient has no problems…

Is it also only a problem if you have a local replic of user-db?

I had this problem with 8.5.3 version. I tried to upgrade to version 9.0.0, but without success.

I found that nlnotes.exe process creates a lot of USER objects, even without logging to Notes. You can observe this with windows task manager (Processes tab with selected “USER Objects” column in View menu). After reaching 10000 USER objects (default value for windows 7) Notes hangs. I noticed also that in safe mode count of “USER Objects” for this process doesn’t grow. My next step was deactivating startup programs in msconfig (Startup tab). Solution to the problem was switching off nwiz.exe item (NVIDIA Desktop Manager)…

Please deactivate virus scan for folder IBM Notes Data. That would be better. Domain im Kundenauftrag registriert
