Lotus Notes - Client Auto Configuration Setup

Can someone help name all the Lotus Notes/Domino products out there which can auto configure the Lotus Notes client.

We use images, so the Lotus Notes client software is already installed.

We are looking for software to help us auto-configure Lotus Notes clients.

I know we can use policies, but PNAB configuration and Mail Preference settings is important, which cannot be done today.

Hi. Did you have to create a ConfigFile for each user? We would like the client to be installed with no input from the users using some kind of generic script.

Also, we’re getting ready to remove all the users “local” files from a network drive due to stability and performance issues.

In our scenario, the Notes client is install on a network drive for roaming usage (names.nsf, bookmark, desktop).

In our case, the network drive of every new user is populate with every files needed by a Notes client (Template, names, etc). Plus we add a Notes.ini pre-configure to every of our notes users(Mailserver, maildb) plus the ConfigFile line (See technote How to Set Up a Notes Client without User Intervention Using a Scriptable Setup).

So when the client connect himself for the first time, the Notes client is automatically configure with their personal informations. No manual process on the PC.
