Lotus notes 8.0.2 and quikr

hi. i did a fresh installation of 8.0.2 in an xp virtual machine - went fine. i then installed the quickr connector - also went fine, i see the quickr icon on the system tray. but for some reason, there is no quickr plugin on the sidebar. has anyone else encountered this? any suggested work around?

this was not the case when i upgraded a production machine from 8.0.1 (with quickr already installed and appearing on the sidebar) to 8.0.2. help, please.

I used quickr hf5 and this worked. Quickr now is in the sidebar.
