Lotus exam 190-701 - use SelfTest or CertFX?

Dear fellow kind-hearted CLPs,

For the Lotus Application Development Update exam 190-701 - which practise test is better === SelfTest or CertFX ? Please help your fellow CLP, who is currently out of projects and is taking the advice of his elites’ advocate to utilize his good free time + own precious pocket monies now to educate himself and upgrade from R6 to R7 certification so that he can be re-deployed again. Many thanks in advance and I will be really grateful for your helping me to invest my precious monies in a right and useful product (unlike Lehman Brothers one).

I’ve used CertFx a few times and it was pretty good. When buying don’t use a Yahoo type of e-mail account for them to send the info - somtimes that gets blocked and it’s a pain to get their support to fix.

You will still need to look at Domino as well. You don’t learn anything/much by looking at tests like these - hands on is the best.

… greatly appreciate it and thanks for your time advising me. The old spirits of CLP information sharing is still alive!!! Unlike the CLP Certification forum - I got ZERO responses. Nowadays, it has become a complaint/feedback channel for missing certifications/incorrect certfication status/hard copy certficates chase etc… man, totally irrelevant and what a mess!

I really liked your way of writing. Go for anyone option, both option contains same questions and answers.

But my advice is prepare throughly your exam topics. Also dont buy any exam practise. You will get it free on internet. Just search in Google.

Thanks for your input, Omkar. I’ve already tried those googled but most of the free one is either out-dated or more of less the same. To name a few - AtcualTests, IT Exam World, Exam Queens and Kings etc… Unless you’ve better recommendation(s) for a closer match to the upcoming exam I’m going to take? for my exams i used the selftest software. In the solutions in the tests are links to the redbooks. These you should also read (for the questions where your answer was wrong).

Then you are very good prepared for the exams.

The redbooks you find in the technical library on this page.
