Hi ,I am trying to authenticate Domino users from a JNDI/LDAP based program.
I would like to know how to disable a user using Domino Administrator or Web-Administrator such that the application will not be able to authenticate the user.
Another Query is how to Lock a User using Domino Administrator or Web-Administrator.

There are a myriad of ways to accomplish this. However, the ‘Best Practice’ is to create a Deny Access Group and place your user in the group. Then make sure that group is in your deny fields of the server documents.
If you are writing your own login() or authentication() methods then you can handle that logic however you want.
