Lotus client 9 is getting crashed

Hi,

One of our Mac OS sierra user’s lotus notes client is getting crashed when he opens a particular mail document in his mail box.

His notes client version is 9.0.1.

Can you help us to find the reason and how to fix it. Thanks.

Subject: Do you have the latest Notes code installed on the Mac?

You mention that it’s version 9.0.1 - Sierra wasn’t supported until 9.0.1 IF5 - I think IF12 is out now…

Subject: Some questions

Was the email received by other people in your organization? If so, does it crash their client? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Notes client on the one user’s Mac?
