Lotus 6 email Syncing issue with Sony Ericsson P990i

I am trying to sync my Sony Ericsson P990i with my Lotus notes email.

I can sync my Calendar , contacts and tasks , but when I sync my email I get a DOS Window which says :

"MIME to CD conversion process blah blah "

This goes on for ever , and the end it says handles finished or something like that , and the sync fails.

I tried changing notes.ini to disable MIME conversion warning etc , but no progress.

Can anybody please help ?

Thanks , but still it does not solve my problem. With this , what happens is , no convert messages appear on the DOS windos , but at the end the DXP PIM.EXE runs out of handles and fails. I guess the loggins does not happen , but the conversion goes on in the background.

What I did on my pc is add :

converter_log_level=10

in the notes.ini of your client.

Check there is no other line with this parameter in the notes.ini otherwise they may interfere one with the other.

Stop the notes client (control you don’t have any notes ghost process in the background) and start it again.

Then everything should be ok
