Lost Templates and re-creating new ones?

Hi,

We have managed to lose all our templates. If I’m right we can just copy our live database to a ntf file / design only and then make this the master template of the live database…

please can you let me know if this sound correct and if anything i should be aware of ??

That will work. May need to clean up the documents in databases that you are now using as the templates (if you copied over documents with the design). That way you will only include the neccessary documents when you create a new database instance with the new template.

This is exactly what you should do. It’s easiest to save them to the root. Make sure you name them so you can differentiate between when you need to replace the design. I usually include the date that I created the template and use TEMP the description.
