Well for some reason my newly created password I entered at creation no longer works and I cannot reset it, so no longer can I test

And totally I agree that the lack of a password reset is something that should be addressed. What I found even more concerning, though, is that after registering with a strong password, I received an email containing the HCL Domino Workspace URL, my username, and my password in plain text.
For me, that is an absolute no-go, even for a Showcase installation. Sending passwords in plain text via email is neither a good nor a secure practice. It is especially problematic because users may reuse strong passwords they normally trust to be handled securely.
Interestingly, your thread made me realize that I would now definitely want a password change option as well, simply because my password has already been sent to me in plain text.
I assume when you change it they send the new one in plain text as well.
I really hope that this is not the case.
Well it’s been 6 days without being able to login now, I understand this is not a helpdesk system so I do not expect an answer the same day or day after, but I will give up testing and focus on something else
FYI - You can initiate a password reset from the page where you registered your account.
I agree that a link to a password reset function should ideally be in the product itself.
