Looking for advice for antispam solution

Hello

I do not know what product for antispam is the better. Of course it depends on the needs… But I would be trully thankfull if anybody shares his experience.

Is anybody satisfied with antispam solution? What Antispam solution did you choose then?

For example I am not satisfied with Etrust Secure Content Manager. My experience: it has too many bugs, the documentation is terrible, configuring by changing ini file manually is also terrible otherwise inpossible to change many things, the forum is readonly and not working, noone answered my emails at CA regarding this product.

Regards.

I have a different option from my friend here. Visit Indias leading antispam , which has been also tested on IBM platform and also been listed in Global Solution Directory on IBM site. Product name is spamjadoo developed by Data Infocom Limited, a leading ISP and Solution provider in India. I have used thier hosted services in my companies, and its amaging. It has saved me 1 mb bandwidth for my organisation.

Just from a user’s point of view Postini is pretty good. It’s cut down the amount of spam reaching my mailbox from around 100 per day to 2 or 3. No idea what it’s like to set up though.

If you’re not opposed to outsourcing, I’d look at MessageLabs. My last environment used (and my current environment uses) them and I’m well impressed. In addition to taking the burdens off my users and my Domino servers, the fact that we only accept inbound port 25 connections from their servers has significantly cut down on the assault on the perimeter networks… Having somebody else do the bulk of the spam management administration also saves your admin types a hell of a lot of work.

For years we had tried to fight spam with cheap (free) solutions but within the last month we just went with Postini. We have been extremely happy with it. The setup was relatively painless and Postini even had training for the administrator in the form of a weekly webinar as well as excellent documentation
