Looking for a more user friendly term than "view filter"

I’m building a Frameset for use within the Notes client. The main frame will typically hold a view. The left pane will hold a navigator.

Within the navigator (which will be a form), I would like to give the user some control over the view selection criteria. I’d like them to be able to select whether all documents appear, or a subset of some sort.

For instance, I’d like them to be able to select “Show my Requests only” or “Show only requests where the Category is ___”.

I know how I will accomplish it technically, but I want to give the users something that sounds better than “View Filters”.

Any suggestions?

View Criteria

Show My Requests Only

Display my Requests Only

Zoom in on My Requests Only

Highlight My Requests Only

I happen to like filter and I think it is used in Excel/Access to allow users to filter information.

I like “filter”, too, but the last time I presented the idea the clients didn’t like the label. Maybe they were reading the “view” in “View Filters” as a verb rather than a noun.

I’m glad to hear that “filter” is used in other applications.
