Does anyone have experience with Log Filters in events4.nsf on Domino 7?
I’m trying to reach state when log.nsf contains only subset of information and everything is displayed on console (and logged to console.log). It was working fine on Domino 6 but behaviour changed in Domino 7. For example - if I set filtering in “Database” folder for Network to not log Normal severity messages, information is filtered from Domino console too.
Does anyone know what was changed in Domino 7? Am I missing something? I tried 7.0.1, 7.0.1FP1 and 7.0.2 with the same results.
Jiri,The events4.nsf database has a view under ‘Filters’ called ‘Log Filters’. As I understand it, when you create an event filter document, there are separate tabs for both database (ie. log.nsf) and console (the display). You should be able to specify different filter settings for each.
However, I’m not sure about what will be logged to console.log
