One of our domino servers has a very large log.nsf file dating back to 2008. The Log=log.nsf,1,0,7,40000 parameter in the notes.ini file is being ignored. The same is true on my Notes 8.5 client. Since it goes back to 2008 then this issue is pre 8.5 since we only upgraded about a month ago. Any ideas or direction? TIA

Personally, our corporate standard is to keep 90 days of log.nsf… Since we have lots of tracing, I’ve been archiving on the server to archive\a_log.nsf and keeping that database at 90 days and then only keeping 7 days of log in log.nsf… Helps keep log.nsf small while maintaining the data required.

Log=log.nsf,1,0,90,48000
because of the corporate standard but I work around the 90 days with the archiving…
