I am having a little trouble with the Internet Browser settings in some of my clients Location preferences.
Mac OSX 10.4.8, Notes 7.0.2.
It seems to keep reverting back to “2” from other or safari after an undetermined amount of time.
Can anyone point me to a solution?

I too have the same problem with the number “2” in the position which should be occupied by the preferred browser location.
It seems to be a common problem on this forum but no solution has been given. Can anyone tell how this issue can be escalated?
Cheers
Iwan

You may have already solved this problem by now, but possibly not. I’m new to the forum, also trying to fix this problem, and another. Was having this same problem on 2 of the MACs I administer (with 2 being OK). Picked up on something in another forum entry, tried it, and it seems to work.
In your personal address book, you’ll see a drop-down button called “Advanced.” Under it, you’ll see a “Locations” button. When you click on it, you’ll see a list including “Internet.” Highlight it, and click “Edit Location.” When you do this, you’ll see pretty much the same buttons you see in the e-mail Location Preferences. You can make the change (again) under “Internet Browser.”
One thing to note, though, you’ll probably also have to put an address in another place to make this one work. The other place is under the “Mail” button, to the left of “Internet Browser.” If your system is like the problem computers here, there is nothing entered for “Internet domain for Notes addresses when connecting directly to the Internet.” If you click on this block of copy, it will explain what it is looking for. Once done with that, you might want to do the same thing under the “Mail” tab in your e-mail Location Preferences.
Why these settings would have to be done twice is a mystery to me!!!
